A Hitachi 0.3 Tesla Open MRI scanner combines high quality imaging with increased patient comfort.

The non-threatening and non-claustrophobic Open MRI equipment offers an imaging experience ideally suited to all patients but particularly for those who may suffer from anxiety or claustrophobia. Larger and frail patients together with children may also benefit from an open MRI scan as there are no enclosed tunnels to pass through and patients can comfortably see their surroundings while the scan is in progress unlike conventional scanning techniques. Our senior professional staff are chosen for their caring and understanding nature which will make the scanning experience as comfortable and relaxed as possible.

The centre is situated outside of the London congestion charging zone and ample free parking is available, on site, with easy access for non ambulant patients by means of a fixed ramp.
